Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Matt Woodruff

Matt grew up in the Capital District, and after extensive international and domestic travel, and time spent living in other larger cities, decided it was time to help strengthen the LGBT community in Albany, of which he is a part.  Matt feels that a magazine such as GAES can bring together the LGBT Community, it's members and economic strength and those in the 'Straight' Community that desire to support us. In this way, Matt and the staff at GAES hope to increase awareness of LGBT issues and the awareness of the economic and political power of the LGBT community.

Matt and his partner purchased and refurbished into a home an 1880's church building and own a popular business on Lookout Mountain, in Alabama. Matt spends his time between the two locales, mostly working in the Capital District to increase the visibility of GAES Magazine.
